Fondation CAB Bruxelles: A Cultural Beacon of the 1930s with Visionary Exhibitions
The Fondation CAB in Brussels features 650 square meters of exhibition space, open to the public twice a year for periods of four to six months, and hosts artists in residence throughout the year.
Housed in a beautifully preserved 1930s building that once served as a coal warehouse, the foundation has been transformed into a dedicated exhibition venue.
This fall, the foundation will present an exhibition dedicated to the historic American artist Richard Nonas. This exhibition will offer a captivating immersion into Nonas' unique world, showcasing his sculptural work known for its profound exploration of space, material, and perception.
In early 2025, Belgian artist Kasper Bosmans will take over the foundation with a month-long project. Bosmans will present works made exclusively from exceptional stones and marbles, drawing inspiration from sciences, design, folklore, local and universal history, and art.
In the spring of 2025, the foundation will host a guest curator to organize an exhibition focused on the joyous aspects of conceptual art.
